5 Spring Clothing & Matching Jewelry Trends 2021

5 Spring Clothing & Matching Jewelry Trends 2021*

1. Athleisure

Most of us have been in our comfy clothes for some time now. Did you know there's a whole new fashion trend called Athleisure? You can even shop the look on Pinterest.

It combines athletics and leisure and consists of leggings, sweats, and clothing you might see at the gym or on people working from home.

I'm saving items on my Pinterest Fashion Lover Board.

2. Shoes

According to who what wear, some women are looking for "revenge heels" instead of wearing comfortable shoes.

Note: This is not a style I'll be wearing. I slip out of mules, don't wear heels, and my feet hurt just looking at them.

My Preference: my new colorful shoes (from Kohls)

3. Floral Dresses

Floral dresses are hot and you can find them everywhere.

4. Relaxed Fit T-shirt

Or, you can add a turquoise pop with my Turquoise Hamsa Necklace

5. Wider Leg Pants & Jeans

You can still wear the straight skinny jeans and bootcut jeans, but fashion is pointing more toward wider leg pants.

Easter Bunny: 5 Ways the Easter Bunny is Related to Easter

How is the Bunny Related to Easter

The Easter Bunny dates back to the 13th century in Germany. The Teutons (German folk), worshiped pagan gods and goddesses.

  • One goddess was Eostra (also known as Ostara or Ēostre). She was revered as the goddess of fertility and spring.
  • The word “Easter” finds its etymology from the goddess’s name.
  • The rabbit became a symbol for Eostra because of its prolific breeding tendencies.

In AD 595, Pope Gregory sent Romans monks to convert the Anglo Saxons. The Anglo-Saxons, like German forefathers, celebrated Eostra. When converted, they accepted the celebration of Jesus Christ's resurrection at Easter while still continuing the celebration of spring renewal and the rabbit's symbolism.
