National Bookmobile Day is celebrated on the Wednesday during National Library Week in April every year. This year, it's on April 26.
Librarian Mary Titcomb launched the first bookmobile in the early 20th century in Washington County, Maryland. Titcomb wanted to start a transport system to get books to rural communities. Her bookmobile was a horse-drawn wooden carrier that contained boxes of books.

To celebrate, I've introduced these fun designs. And, they make fabulous Mother's Day Gifts.
The tote bags make amazing library book bags.
I can also put these designs on other items: such as a tote bag, pillow cover or pillow, or a tee-shirt.
Please let me know if you're interested in a custom/personalized order. I'm happy to work with you.
