How to Pick a Kippah Size
When you're shopping with me for a bat mitzvah or womens kippot, here's a guide to use to select the right fit for you.
First, draw 2 circles that are 4 inches and 5 inches on white paper. Cut them out. You can also choose 3.5 inches or a mini kippah barrette which range from 3.5-5 inches.
Sit in front on a mirror.
Place them alternately on the crown of your head to see if which size you prefer.
Silver Wire Kippah with Gold rounded beads 5" large
A kippah measuring 4" is the most common size. This one is silver wire with white pearls.
Wearing a kippah
You have a choice; You can wear it on top of your head (my preference) Clicking the links will take you to a kippah that is ready to mail.
You can choose your - wire colors
- beads (like white pearls, silver or gold rounds beads) and
- Swarovski crystals
See my handmade assortment of kippot here.
Each kippah comes packaged and wrapped in tissue paper and cardstock, and is placed in a U.S. Postal Service 2-day priority mail small box to ensure it gets to you on time.
Shape your Kippah
You can carefully bend your kippah to be more flat or conical.
Clean your Kippah
If you wear hairspray, it's best to clean the comb that is attached. Wet a cloth with warm water and detergent and wipe the comb gently.
Making a kippah to be part of your special event fills me with joy and I am honored that you choose to shop with me.
Maria, one of my clients said: "I am so impressed with the quality of the piece and the thoughtfulness as well as the professionalism of the vendor. Thank you so much for my Kippah, I will wear it proudly."
